How much does a website cost in Estonia in 2026?

HOW MUCH DOES A WEBSITE COST?

The short answer: building a company website costs €600 + VAT on average at our studio, and an online store about €1,200 + VAT. These are averages, not a price list: a simple business card site can cost less, a multilingual site or one with special features costs more.

Below we explain what the price of a website in Estonia is made of, which costs come after launch and how to get an exact quote.

PRICES AT A GLANCE

These are SiteDesign prices for 2026. Other providers may charge differently, so always compare what the price includes.

WHAT DOES THE PRICE OF A WEBSITE DEPEND ON?

1. Number of pages. Every page has to be designed, filled with content and checked on a phone. A small company often needs just five pages: home, services, about, work and contact.

2. Number of languages. In Estonia you often need Estonian, Russian and English. Each language means translated pages, menus and forms, and separate addresses so Google shows the right version.

3. Design. Adapting a ready-made design to your colours and logo costs less. A unique design made from scratch takes longer, because the mock-up is drawn and approved before development.

4. Features. A contact form is part of the website with us. Booking, a price calculator, a product catalogue or an integration with another system is extra work.

5. Texts and images. If you already have them, the website is ready sooner.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?

  • design in your company’s style
  • a WordPress website you can edit yourself later
  • a mobile-friendly version for phones and tablets
  • an enquiry form that sends customer messages to your inbox
  • page titles, descriptions and a sitemap for Google
  • handover and training

The exact scope of work is set out in the quote. Read more: website development.

WHICH COSTS COME AFTER LAUNCH?

Domain. The address is paid for yearly.

Web hosting. The server where the website lives — with us from €9.99 per month (incl. VAT).

Maintenance. WordPress, the theme and plugins must be updated. Website maintenance costs €75 per month + VAT and includes updates, security, backups and small changes.

WordPress itself is free: there is no licence fee or monthly platform fee.

WHY CAN A VERY CHEAP WEBSITE TURN OUT EXPENSIVE?

Compare the price with the result. In 2026 our audit measured the mobile speed of 4,901 Estonian company websites (Google PageSpeed): the median score was 64/100, and only 11% scored a good 90+.

So when comparing quotes, ask whether the price includes a mobile version, a speed check and later maintenance.

You can also build a website yourself with a site builder. That works if your needs are simple and you have the time. Count the monthly platform fee and your own working hours.

1. Briefly describe the website you need: how many pages, which languages and which features.
